Out of this world… literally
After Ellen’s effort at the Oscars and the many, many imitations since, one would have thought that the selfie movement could scale no higher heights than it has in the last number of weeks.
That was until NASA astronaut Mike Hopkins took this photo of himself while doing a spacewalk on the exterior of the International Space Station recently and although the photo was taken on Christmas Eve, it has been circulating on social media networks again overnight and, even if you have seen it already, it’s well worth another look.

We think that this means that Hopkins is now the star of the greatest selfie ever taken, an award we’re sure he’s over the moon about.
