PIC: This Rubberbandits story from Limerick today will put a smile on your face

What a cheeky young fella, fair play to him…

Limerick are currently hosting their bid to be European Capital of Culture in 2020 and as such, the city is bustling with activity.

There’s a whole host of events happening for #Limerick2020 as the judges come to look at the city and deem whether or not it has enough… culture, we presume.

Basically, the whole idea is to act natural and go out of your way to do good deeds like helping elderly people cross the road, throwing litter into bins provided and not wander across the street without looking while playing Pokemon GO.

One thing in particular that is surely going to play in favour of the #Limerock2020 bid is this story captured by the Rubberbandits with the help of Darren Ryan Photography.

The text reads as follows:

“This here sums up ‪#‎Limerick2020‬ party in the City today. The lad in the hat is world famous Limerick artist John Shinnors. His paintings have sold for a quarter of a million. A cheeky youngfella walked up and offered him a tenner for a painting he was working on, and shinnors sold it to him. For a tenner. YURT. Photo credit Darren Ryan Photography“.
