PIC: UL student studies for four years and gets handed *this* diploma on his graduation day

Imagine being handed this, your first reaction would definitely by panic

Imagine being handed this, your first reaction would definitely by panic…

University of Limerick student Aonghus O’Donovan graduated today after four years of hard work, constant studying and just a little bit of partying for good measure.

At his ceremony where the wizard in the robes hands you your sheepskin diploma, Aonghus received one that was slightly different from the rest of his class.

The poor lad must have had a minor heart attack when he read the top line of the parchment…

4 years of hard work and this is what the man with the big mace and the fancy hat hands me.

Just in case you can’t read what’s written on the paper, it says:

“You have received this in error, please call to Student Academic Administrations Office following the ceremony to collect your parchment.

“Apologies for any inconvenience caused”

That’s one way to give a young lad the mother of all frights on his graduation day…

Cheers to Darragh O’Toole and Gavin Lynam for sending this in.
