We all know that the water charges are a pain in the rear and not many people are keen on paying them. But one clever protester at a protest in Galway over the weekend suggested a thought-provoking compromise to the water charges this weekend that involved the Mayo Senior footballers.
Would you agree to pay the water charges when Mayo win an All-Ireland?
And would your money be safe for a long time yet? We don’t mean to offend Mayo fans but history suggests it would.
