PIC: Xtra-Vision workers post touching letter on shop window in Clare

Alan Loughnane

A lovely note thanking them for their support…

Xtra-Vision staff were shocked this week when the court appointed a provisional liquidator to the game and DVD store.

Over 500 jobs will be lost across 80 outlets across the country and staff were forced to close the doors of the premises on short notice.

While many predicted that Xtra-Vision was in trouble financially, the abruptness of the closure caught some people by surprise.

The staff at the store in Ennis, Clare left a note on the window paying tribute to their customers for all their support over the years.

A classy gesture from the staff who would’ve been forgiven for having other things on their minds at a time like this.
