PICS: ‘Cramped’ would be a kind description of this rental apartment in Dublin

Personal space obviously isn’t an issue for whoever lives here.

Finding a suitable property in which to live is an issue for many people living in the capital.

Such is the demand for available accommodation and, in many cases, the prohibitive costs, that many dwellers have to settle for places that might not be exactly what they were hoping for.

If you’ve ever had cause to check out the rental market in Dublin, you’ve probably come across studio apartments where swinging a cat would not be an advisable course of action.

One that has just been occupied in Crumlin, that had been advertised on Daft.ie, is a case in point.

Let has been agreed on the property in recent days and for €700 a month, the occupant will reside in an apartment that contains a double bed, wardrobe and desk, all mod cons and an ensuite shower room.

A problem many people might find, however, is that all the above items are quite close together.
