PICS: It’s Donegal Tuesday in Galway and the queues are already massive

Joe Harrington

The rain isn’t dampening their spirits.

Anyone that’s ever experienced Rag Week in Galway will know the sight of a queue of hundreds of students in Donegal jerseys on the Tuesday morning is a normal thing.

It’s no different this year as students are lining the streets to get into the Hole In The Wall pub nice and early.

The Connacht Tribune’s Enda Cunningham is there, this is what he saw.

City Taxis in Galway are also on the scene.

It’s a tradition that shows no sign easing up, but if you are taking part today you’ll need to behave yourself because the Gardaí will be keeping a close eye on it.

They say, they’ll be focusing on antisocial behaviour as in previous years and we will be taking a no-nonsense approach.
