PICS: There was a great turnout in Dublin for a vigil in memory of Orlando massacre victims

Homenews

Great to see.

Hundreds of people turned out in Dublin City Hall on Monday evening for a silent vigil in memory of the victims of the Orlando massacre at the weekend. The vigil in Dublin was replicated around the world in a powerful show of solidarity after the tragic events in the early hours of Sunday morning, when 49 people were killed and 53 wounded after a gunman opened fire in a LGBT nightclub in Orlando. Songs were sung and LGBT flags were waved by many of those in attendance in what was a really heartwarming response to such a tragic set of events. https://twitter.com/Colmogorman/status/742417109087621120 https://twitter.com/CormacCashman/status/742418487872770048 https://twitter.com/CormacCashman/status/742418487872770048 https://twitter.com/EmmaMurphySF/status/742447062705410048 https://twitter.com/TheOnlyAC/status/742440363437232128 https://twitter.com/RTE2fm/status/742433639561105408 https://twitter.com/DublinByMouth/status/742408193280757760 https://twitter.com/PaulMcauliffe/status/742434933818396672
