Pictures: Looks like the floods hit Galway pretty hard last night

We suffered through some stormy weather last night, and it looks like Galway was hit pretty badly
Form Cork to Galway, it looks like many parts of Ireland had to contend with stormy conditions and bad weather last night, and in coastal areas the risk of flooding was pretty high. That was certainly the case in Galway where a few different areas were hit by high flood waters that had the emergency services out in force trying to deal with the problems.
Businesses and shops may have been affected, and there looks to have been some property damaged if these pictures are anything to go by.
Bryan Dermody was able to get a few shots of the damage done, and has shared them with us, and they paint a pretty bleak picture.
