Tragic news.
A mass shooting has been reported in Jacksonville, Florida.
The Jacksonville Sherrif’s Office warned people to “stay far away from the area” in a tweet on Sunday night.
Mass shooting at the Jacksonville Landing. Stay far away from the area. The area is not safe at this time. STAY AWAY #TheLandingMassShooting

They followed up this tweet with another stressing the importance of the warning.

Police are yet to confirm the number of people affected as of yet, but CNN have reported that “multiple people” have been shot.

It has been confirmed that the shooting took place at a video game tournament.
Local news anchor Vic Micolucci took to Twitter to report that 15 people have been shot with at least four victims believed to be dead.

The video game tournament was being streamed on Twitch to a number of viewers.
Police say that the situation is still unfolding.
