A €120,000 Wexford house listing is going viral, with some calling it a "kip" while others think it may be a "bargain".
New to the market, the three-bedroom mid-terrace's address is No. 23 The Faythe, Wexford.
According to Keane Auctioneers, the property sits in "the highly sought-after area of The Faythe, offering exceptional convenience and strong potential for anyone looking to create a comfortable home in a prime Wexford setting".
The real-estate auctioneer notes that the house is a "project and requires refurbishment", but adds that "its position and layout make it an appealing opportunity for a wide range of buyers".
"This property is ideally positioned to become a wonderful family home or a strong investment, thanks to its excellent location, generous layout and the opportunity it presents for modernisation," the listing also states.
As for the house's features, Keane Auctioneers further highlight:
Keane Auctioneers posted a version of the property listing on TikTok, which has garnered nearly 45,000 views within one day of being posted.
The listing garnered a mixed response from commenters, with many taking aim at the house's appearance.
In the photos shown, the property's exterior has a large, vertical black mark running from the roof to the path below.
Inside the house, meanwhile, several rooms do not appear to have flooring. The wallpaper and wall paint in some of the rooms also looks peeled and chipped.
One commenter said: "Is this a joke or what? €120k for the concrete walls; everything has to be replaced in it."
A second person wrote: "I can smell these photos."
Another joked: "Didn’t know Backrooms was filmed in this Wexford house," while someone else added: "This is a scene from The Last of Us."
Several remarked that they thought it would cost more than €120,000 to renovate the property.
"€120k, are you having a laugh? €200k+ to turn this kip around," one commenter remarked, while another said: "€120k plus €500k to make it liveable."
That said, not all the comments were negative.
"I'll bet a pint in the Swan bar….across the road from this….it will get close to €200k," one TikTok user said.
"I was like: 'What a bargain.' Wexford is a nice town," another wrote.
One commenter wrote: "€120K plus €100+k refurb," adding a smiley face emoji.
According to a Daft.ie report from March 2026, the average price of a three-bed terraced house in Wexford is €274,000.
