Two people have been arrested following a drug seizure in Roscommon.
Gardaí in Roscommon are investigating the seizure of drugs at a number of houses in Roscommon town on Tuesday 5 November.
One man (20 years of age), and one woman (31 years of age) were arrested, while drugs and cash were seized at two separate houses.
A quantity of cannabis and cocaine was seized with an estimated street value in excess of €170,000 (subject to analysis), as was a large sum of cash.
The amount of cash is yet to be disclosed.
The man and woman were arrested at two separate houses and are both currently detained at Roscommon Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
