Gardaí are investigating potential breaches of immigration legislation which may have occurred on board a Stena Line Ferry that arrived in Rosslare on Thursday.

The boat, which was travelling from Cherbourg in France, arrived in Rosslare at approximately 2.40pm on Thursday with an estimated 16 people on board.

All the individuals appeared to be in good health, and are currently receiving medical assessments at Rosslare Port.
