Checking-in for a flight with Ryanair is about to become a lot handier from now on

This should help prevent some last-minute panic for air travellers going forward.

Checking in for Ryanair flights is about to become a lot more convenient, particularly for travellers who regularly avail of Ryanair services. Ryanair today unveiled its 2017/18 customer experience improvement plan, the fourth year of the “Always Getting Better” (AGB) programme, which includes service, digital, ancillary and inflight developments. Amongst the new initiatives to be rolled out over the coming year include an express booking service to come into effect from this month onwards. The express booking will allows customers’ preferred bundles of bags, extras, seat preferences etc. to be saved as a default in the user’s profile, allowing for a much faster booking flow for future bookings. The function is now available for solo travellers and will be rolled out to groups and families in the near future. Also available from this month on is auto check-in, which allows customers to check-in simultaneously for both sectors when they book return flights and receive both boarding cards in the process, saving the need to have to check in all over again ahead of the return flight. Ryanair has also promised the roll-out of a range of other initiatives, including “even lower airfares and more of them”, new bases (Frankfurt Main, Naples) and improved schedules and connecting flights, initially on Ryanair’s network and then on other airlines.
