3,500 customers have been affected.

Ryanair have announced that they have cancelled 20 flights that were due to land/depart from Ireland on August 3 – that’s next Friday.

All 3,500 of the affected passengers have been alerted of these cancellations via email/SMS.

The airline has also stated that they’re making provisions to re-accommodate /refund anyone that has seen their travel plans disrupted by these latest batch of cancellations.

As reported yesterday, the union Fórsa had previously warned that these strikes by the Irish-based Ryanair pilots will not finish until the airline “negotiated in good faith”.

The union feels that no progress has been made regarding the issue which led to Fórsa recently announcing that some of their Irish-based Ryanair pilots will be taking industrial action on 3 August.

In the statement below, Ryanair state that “Fórsa rejected our offer to meet yesterday” and the airline have now officially confirmed these cancellations.
