A Scooby-Doo live-action series has been confirmed by Netflix.
The streaming platform verified the news on social media, as well as announcing the plot of the new series.
Describing the show Netflix wrote: "In this modern reimagining, old friends Shaggy and Daphne team up at summer camp with scientific townie Velma and the strange but handsome Fred to solve the mystery of a lonely lost Great Dane puppy — who may have witnessed a supernatural murder."
While a release date as well as the cast of the show has not been announced, it's been revealed that the show will cone to life with the help of Midnight Radio, a LA production company headed by Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg.
Midnight Radio are the makers of the Cowboy Bebop remake, as well as High Fidelity and Everything Sucks.
Fans of the show have shared their reactions to the news, with one saying they 'can't wait to see what they do with this'.
Others are hoping the show does the iconic cartoon justice.
