We doubt we’ve heard the last of this.

Limerick defeated Galway by one point in the All-Ireland Hurling Final on Sunday. The match was brilliant from start to finish, with Galway missing a last second chance to draw level.

The final score was 3-16 to 2-18.

Based on how exciting the game was, we would assume that everyone in attendance would have been on the edge of their seat.

Well, almost everyone…

Danny Healy-Rae was in attendance in Croke Park, and appeared to nod off at one point during the game.

Maybe he was just resting his eyes, maybe it’s just a bad picture, who knows?

Either way, Shane Ross had very little sympathy for him.

The Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport took to Twitter to complain about the fact that Healy-Rae appeared to be asleep.

Ross tweeted the picture along with the caption: “Is this a waste of a good ticket?”

Healy-Rae is yet to respond to the tweet by Shane Ross.

This isn’t the first issue that the Kerryman has had with sleep. In 2017 he struggled to stay awake in the Dáil, which you can see here. He reminds us of a Monday morning 9am lecture.

Maybe he just needs a coffee.
