Homenews

Brrrr.

Get out the hat, gloves and warm clothes because a bitterly cold spell is set to grip the country right through to the weekend. Snow fell in the west of Ireland yesterday morning and Met Éireann are predicting more sleet and snow tonight in parts of the country as temperatures drop to lows of -2 degrees. Severe frost and ice is expected to form on untreated surfaces tonight and on most nights between now and Sunday, with a possibility of snow and sleet in the southern half of the country over the weekend. In good news, spells of heavy rain will be few and far between over the next few days, but the mercury isn't expected to reach any higher than eight degrees at any stage. So if you are venturing outside, be careful out there... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oT9z87GNL_g Clip via Cian Curtin
