If you’re waking up in the Castlebar/Ballina area of Mayo this morning then you might want to stick on an extra pair of socks, as it’s currently snowing out west.
We have a feeling that there might be a few ‘sickies’ being pulled in Castlebar/Ballina area of Mayo today, as a nice layer of snow is slowly building up in the region.
Paddy the Postman, who’s been up since the crack of dawn delivering your Christmas cards, is currently doing his rounds in the Castlebar/Ballina area and he sent us in the following snaps.

According to Paddy there have already been a few minor accidents due to the icy conditions and it has been “letting it down” pretty bad all morning. So if you’re getting ready to head out just make sure you’re prepared for the worst.
