There was no winner of Wednesday night’s Lotto jackpot worth a cool €3,753,612 but there is reason to be cheerful for the owner of one ticket.
One player managed to match five numbers plus the bonus ball to take home €243,959 in the draw.
The winning numbers were 1, 18, 19, 25, 26, 42 and the bonus number was 9.
83,000 people won prizes in the draw and 18 people managed to nab themselves €1,341.
There was no winners of either the Lotto Plus 1 or the Lotto Plus 2 draws.
