Teenager released from hospital following Cork stabbing, Gardaí renew appeal for witnesses

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to an incident after a teenager was stabbed a number of times in Carrigaline, Cork on Saturday night.

The teenager was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment for his injuries but has since been released.

It’s understood a teenager arrested in relation to the attack remains in Garda custody.

The incident happened at the Waterpark estate in Carrigaline at around 10.30pm on Saturday night.

Investigating Gardaí are appealing for any persons who were in the area of Waterpark and can assist with the investigation to contact them.

Road users who may have camera footage (dash-cam) of Waterpark on Saturday night from 10pm to 10.30pm are asked to contact them at Togher Garda Station 021 494 7120, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
