Telefloodies: Farmer floods Teletubbies house to deter tourists

JOE

A farmer in Warwickshire has gone Laa-Laa and flooded the Teletubbies house from the famous children’s TV show

Rosemary Harding, who owns the land on which the set was built, was apparently sick of people trespassing on her property to get a look at the house, and has taken drastic action to stop people coming on to her land.

She told the Sunday People that tourists were jumping fences and crossing cattle fields to get a glimpse at the famous house, which was nothing but a grassy hill, as the props were all removed after the show was cancelled in 2001.

Harding runs an aquatics shop at the location in Warwickshire, but it seems that there won’t be anyone stopping by any more, as she brought in a crew of diggers and flooded the location making a pond in its place. We suppose you could still swing by and go for a bit of skinny Dipsy-ing.
