We always says it's crazy how many Irish people are living in Australia at the moment but now we have an exact number.
According to recent figures from the Settlement Report of the Australian government, 22,170 Irish people have settled in Australia since 2009.
That breaks down to 4,434 every year, 369 every month and 12 every day.
The Irish are 11th highest on the list of nationalities who have moved to Australia in that time.
The top nationalities relocating there are India (173,867), China (162,069) and the UK (100,298).
We hope to see everyone home sooner rather than later.
