The 1997 hit also stars Harrison Ford and tells the story of an IRA member forced into hiding in New York.

Our TV movie pick tonight (Tuesday, 30 June) is The Devil's Own, the 1997 thriller starring Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford.

Pitt plays Frankie McGuire (aka Rory Devaney), a young IRA member who travels to New York on a secret mission and ends up lodging with an Irish-American police officer, played by Ford, who has no idea who his new houseguest really is. As the truth slowly comes to light, the pair find themselves on a collision course.

Set between Belfast and New York, The Devil's Own mixes tense action with plenty of drama and features strong performances from its two Hollywood leads, alongside a supporting cast that includes Margaret Colin, Rubén Blades and Treat Williams.

Whether you've seen it before or are catching it for the first time, it's an easy pick if you're after a gripping thriller to round off the evening.

The Devil's Own airs on Legend tonight at 9pm.
