Did your hometown make the list?

Did your hometown make the list?

There are some towns you drive through (unintentional pun alert) and every second business seems to be fast food place but a new survey has found the Irish town with the most greasy joints.

To be more specific, the Treated.com survey counted the number of McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King, Subway, Domino’s, and Costa in a town per head of population.

In top spot is Swords in North Dublin, which has at least one of those fast food places for every 4,102 people in the area. It has a population of 37, 000,

On the other hand, Bray has a population of just over 31,000 and it only has one Domino’s, McDonald’s and Subway for the people living there.

Top ten fast food towns in Ireland (per head of population):

  1. Swords
  2. Limerick
  3. Cork
  4. Waterford
  5. Dundalk
  6. Galway
  7. Dublin
  8. Drogheda
  9. Navan

Here’s all the information from the Treated.com survey.
