Now this really is mesmerising…
NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman recently Tweeted out the fist ever Vine to be recorded in outer space and we have to say, it’s pretty spectacular.
The short clip features the ISS’s 92-minute long lap of earth condensed down to just six seconds and thanks to Wiseman’s positioning in space, it looks like the sun never sets.
According to Geekosystem.com: “When the ISS’s orbit aligns with the point at which night and day meet on Earth, which happens right before and after the summer solstice, the ISS never falls into the dark side of Earth – meaning it never experiences a sunset.”
