The second annual Munster Rugby Sports Sale returns to Limerick to raise funds for the Donal Walsh #LiveLife Foundation. Paul O’Connell, Conor Murray and Jamie Heaslip are among the players that have donated their used and unused gear.

The sale takes place on Saturday September 20th from 2pm-7pm in Peter Clohessy’s Bar in Limerick.

Organiser Olive Foley says, “Please support this wonderful cause and step out in some great Munster gear. This year we have a mammoth sale with major bargains to be snapped up.

“The gear ranges from quilted subs jackets, Irish and Munster socks, t-shirts, boots, shorts, hoodies, tracksuits, gear bags, ties, caps and suits. There are also some very special collectables including test jerseys, test ties, monogramed gear, signed jerseys and lots more.”

Much of the gear will be priced and will be sold on a first-come basis. All funds raised will be donated to the Donal Walsh #LiveLife Foundation.

Donal Walsh is the Kerry teenager who touched so many lives when he came to prominence through his writings and subsequent appearance on RTÉ’s ‘The Saturday Night Show’ and who asked teenagers to ‘live life’ as he battled terminal cancer.

The #Livelife Foundation was set up by Donal’s family in order to bring forward his causes. For more see www.donalwalshlivelife.org.
