Munster fans, if you fancy getting your hands on some of the gear worn by your heroes in the recent past and want to help out a very worthy cause, then get yourself to Clohessy’s Pub in Limerick on Friday week.

The event is being held to raise funds for the Donal Walsh Live Life Foundation, which provides appropriate facilities for seriously and terminally ill teenagers as well as promoting his anti-suicide message, which Donal himself tirelessly promoted before sadly succumbing to a battle with cancer earlier this year.

Donal formed a particularly strong bond with the Munster Rugby squad throughout his battle with illness and formed strong friendships with the likes of Paul O’Connell, Ronan O’Gara and others, who all attended his funeral in Tralee earlier on in the year.

The brilliant work that Donal did in pushing the anti-suicide message is being carried on by the Donal Walsh Live Life Foundation and the Munster rugby squad will help raise funds and awareness for the cause by selling off old gear such as jerseys, gear bags, tracksuits, jackets and much more at an event in Clohessy’s Pub in Limerick on Friday 6 September from 12 noon to 8pm, the day before Munster’s first Rabo12 encounter of the season against Edinburgh at Musgrave Park.

It should be a great event for Munster and rugby fans alike and it’s for a very worthy cause.
