According to the NHC Hurricane Gonzalo is moving north at around 9 miles per hour, while the max sustained wind speed has been recorded at 140mph (225kph). So it's currently turing out to be a pretty damn big storm...
While Hurricane Gonzalo looks set to make it’s way towards Ireland, we wouldn’t go stocking up the post-apocalypse supplies just yet, as it could easily change course or disperse into nothing before Tuesday. At least we hope it comes to nothing…
