Take note…

AA Roadwatch have warned of long delays on the N4 on Wednesday morning following a collision inbound on the Lucan Road before the M50 Interchange in the right lane.

The crash has been cleared to the hard shoulder of the road and it has reopened, but long delays remain in place with heavy traffic from before J7 Maynooth through to J2 Liffey Valley.

In the last update from AA Roadwatch, motorists were warned of long delays on the M4 Sligo Rd heading towards Dublin City this morning, with heavy traffic from before J7 Maynooth through to J2 Liffey Valley resulting in a 16km queue.

Earlier there were tailbacks of 18km on the road but they’ve eased somewhat now, and motorists are urged to be slow on approach to the M50 interchange due to the collision.

As a result of the collision, traffic had been backed up on Chapel Hill into Lucan Village and into the city from Celbridge on Hazelhatch Road.
