Aussies are in for a treat.
The Australian McDonald’s appears to be light years ahead of their European counterparts, having just introduced the All-Day Breakfast menu.
This is the moment we’ve been waiting for… although here in Ireland we’ll unfortunately have to keep waiting.
The new menu, which includes the popular Bacon and Egg McMuffin and Sausage and Egg McMuffin, as well as the Hashbrowns and Hotcakes, will be served all day, every day, 24/7, 7 days a week, at restaurants in Wollongong and the Illawarra, with the service expected to be rolled out nationwide in the coming months.
Nomnomnomnomnomnom.
Of course, we all have a few lucky friends living in Australia who will be able to enjoy this on our behalf, so expect a few saucy late-night breakfast Snapchats from Maccy D customers, all gloating about their new midnight snacks.

McDonald’s Australia chief marketing officer Mark Lollback said: “We are always listening and taking on feedback from our customers and all-day breakfast was one that people are always asking of us. We are excited to let our customers know that we have heard them and to announce that our Wollongong patrons will have the opportunity to be among the first in Australia to enjoy all-day breakfast.”
Hopefully, now that it’s been introduced in Australia, we’re one step closer to getting our own all-day breakfast menu here at home too.
