The warning will be in effect from 11am this morning, Tuesday May 20, and remains so until 8pm this evening.
As for the rest of the week, for tomorrow Met Éireann said ‘any residual cloud and patchy rain and drizzle in the south will soon clear’ leaving a’ dry and mostly sunny day with just the chance of a few showers bubbling up in southern counties’.
Highs of 17 to 22 degrees are expected.
Thursday will be ‘largely dry with patchy cloud and sunny spells and just the odd light shower possible’, with Friday starting off ‘dry with sunny spells’.
For the weekend, Saturday morning will be ‘mostly cloudy with rain in most areas’, and Sunday will be a ‘bright day with sunny spells and scattered showers’.
