Tory Lanez was left in critical condition after an inmate attacked him with a prison shank.
Lanez was stabbed over a dozen times all over his body, suffering a number of wounds to his back, torso, head, and face.
He suffered collapsed lungs as a result of the attack.
He was placed on breathing apparatus, but according to TMZ he is now breathing on his own.
It’s reported that the incident occured at 7.20am local time at the California Correctional Institute in Tehachapi.
He was rushed to an off-site hospital before being airlifted to Kern Medical Hospital.
Tory is serving prison time for shooting Megan Thee Stallion at a 2020 party at Kylie Jenner’s house.
After being convicted in 2022 he was sentenced to ten years in prison.
