Tempers flaring…
Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto has cancelled a scheduled visit to Washington next week to meet with Donald Trump, after the US President signed an executive order to proceed with the construction of a border wall between the US and Mexico.
Trump then said that while the American taxpayers would have to foot the bill initially, he said America would be “100%” reimbursed by Mexico.
This did not go down well with former Mexican President Vicente Fox Quesada who took to Twitter last night to hilariously and emphatically deny that Mexico would ever contribute towards the wall. With a suitably amazing hashtag…
Current Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto said via Twitter a short time ago that he would no longer be attending the scheduled meeting with Donald Trump.
The message roughly translates to: “This morning we have informed the White House that I will not attend the meeting scheduled for next Tuesday with the @POTUS.”

His statement on Twitter came following a series of earlier tweets by President Trump where he was highly critical of Mexico’s attitude towards America’s plan for the wall.
