Two lucky lotto players in Ireland have won €500,000 and €255,000 in the Daily Millions Plus draw and the EuroMillions Raffle Prizes, respectively.
The locations of both of these lucky tickets have now been revealed.
A player from Co. Limerick is discovering they are €255,000 richer this morning, following Friday (May 9) night's draw.
In addition to the usual €5,000 Raffle prize, the Limerick player received an additional prize of €250,000, bringing their total winnings to €255,000.
The winning Quick Pick ticket, which was purchased on the day from Moloney’s Daybreak, Carrigkerry, Athea, Co. Limerick, had the raffle number I-SBS-10586.
There will be celebrations in Galway today as one lucky player has become Ireland’s third winner in 2025 of the Daily Million Plus top prize of €500,000.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw from Mountbellew Post Office, Co. Galway.
The winning numbers in Friday's 2pm Daily Million Plus draw were: 8, 16, 28, 29, 33, 34 , and the bonus was 27.
Darragh O’Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson, said: "It was a Friday to remember for our players in Galway and Limerick, with two big wins to celebrate this weekend!
"In last night’s EuroMillions draw, there was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot, but over 61,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games.
"This includes one Raffle Ticket Winner: I-SBS-10586 of the 'Ireland Only Raffle' special draw, who received €255,000. With six more €250,000 EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle top-up wins guaranteed, it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable month for our players."
