Free money? Sounds good to us.
A “once-off” VHI online advantage offer – which policyholders originally had until the end of August to avail of – has been extended for another five days.
Leading health insurance consultant, Dermot Goode of totalhealthcover, is calling on anyone who is a VHI health insurance member, whether it’s through a personal policy or through work, to take action immediately to avail of the offer, which ends on Sunday 30th September.
The offer itself requires existing members to start paying by direct debit, and if they do so they will be rewarded with a financial payment.
They say this is a “once-off” offer and unless members register before the deadline, they will miss out on at least €100 landing in their account in a few weeks’ time.
€100 into the account sounds pretty good to us.
Goode elaborated on the situation, saying: ““These employees, like everybody else, are entitled to sign up online and receive the €50 direct debit bonus. This money will go straight into the employee/ policyholder’s bank account.
“It doesn’t matter how the employer is discharging the premium to the insurer. Once the employee signs up online, they qualify. If they’re happy to get all their documentation online, they qualify for the additional payments as well.”
