This is a lovely message.

Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, the owner of Leicester City Football Club, is among five people who died following a helicopter crash outside Leicester’s stadium.

The incident took place after Leicester’s home against West Ham on Saturday evening.

Since then, tributes have poured in from a number of people in the footballing community, with every Leicester player paying respect to the deaths on their social media.

Vichai’s son, Top, took to Instagram and left an extremely touching message to his dad, and to everyone who has shared support with him and his family this week.

In the Instagram post, Srivaddhanaprabha wrote that: “For a long time, my father taught me to be strong and to take care of my family. He had a way of teaching me about life and work without making it seem like a lesson.

“He was my mentor and role model. Today, he has left me with a legacy to continue and I will do everything I can to carry on his big vision and dreams.”

He finished the post with the words: “I miss you dad, with all of my heart.”
