A belated Happy Christmas, Dean.
Dean O’Connor is back in Dublin after undergoing a double lung transplant in the UK on Christmas Eve.
The 15-year-old from Kildare spent Christmas Day in intensive care but has made massive strides in the weeks since his life saving operation.
Dean, who has Cystic Fibrosis, described his joy at returning home to his friends and family.
His mam Yvonne stressed the importance of carrying a Donor Card, so that more lives like Dean’s can be saved in the future.
