The incident occurred in Abbeyshrule last night.
A freak accident has left a man with minor injuries and several people being treated for shock after a helicopter crashed into the back of a pub in Co. Longford.
The small aircraft descended and struck the back function room of the Rustic Inn Bar near an airfield in Abbeyshrule.

The incident occurred late Wednesday evening with a number of people witnessing the crash.
Bystanders said they heard a loud noise and saw the helicopter coming down in a laneway beside the pub.
Two men were on board the aircraft at the time of the crash.
A full investigation is taking place this morning.
