Babe: Pig in Waterford City…
We know that organising any sort of festival, be it big or small, is a hell of a task. You’ve so much to sort out with location, stages, performers, a licence (GarthGate), sponsors and security among the things required for your event to run smoothly.
Out of all the things listed there, security is probably one of the easiest to get right. The obvious move is to hire a festival specific security firm who are experience in dealing with large events and they’ll come in and take care of everything, simples.
There might be some new training methods introduced for security firms after what happened at the Waterford Harvest Festival over the weekend…

Yes, a runaway pig somehow got loose and left security staff scrambling around the streets of Waterford trying to catch it.
The pig, whose identity is unknown, was spotted crashing King Kong Company’s performance on the street and thankfully YouTube user Eric Heaslip was there to capture the moment.
