The were some ugly scenes in Dublin today.
We’ve already seen some tense scenes earlier today where Gardaí had to step in between Anti-Islam group PEGIDA and counter protestors in Dublin.
JOE’s Carl Kinsella was on the ground today and spoke to some of the people attending the counter protest against the Anti-Islan group.
The video below shows Gardaí separating the sides but the footage takes a more worrying turn about halfway through when the atmosphere seems to change.
Angry scenes followed and RTÉ have reported that one of their cameramen was injured during the protests today and that they will be making a formal complaint about the incident.
