There’s only one way to make up for possibly having offended someone, and that’s not by apologising, just tell it like it is
We know life in Australia is supposed to be a bit more relaxed than it is here, but we think that morning TV host Karl Stefanovic of Channel 9 is taking it very easy indeed, as this clip from yesterday shows.
We’re not sure what the full news story was about, but he implies that the rather large gentleman in the picture that they showed had eaten his own girlfriend, and then procedes to do an impression of Fat Bastard from Austin Powers. Instead of apologising or playing it down, he just adds that it’s too early and absolutely no one is watching anyway.
As his co-presenter notes, you can’t really say that live on air, but we get the impression that Karl truly gives zero f**ks after seeing him pull a Ron Burgundy-style stunt on a fellow newsreader a while back.
