In the wake of the horrific and terrifying attacks in Paris last night which left at least 128 people dead, a crowd gathered in Dublin to mourn the victims.

The vigil, consisting of mostly French people, gathered on O’Connell Street today and marched in solidarity with the people of Paris.

The sense of shock was evident in the crowd as they are still reeling from the awful scenes which unfolded in the French capital last night.

We spoke with some of the people in attendance at the march and we felt a sense of union among the French people, with one woman saying “I think today we really want to struggle for our liberté, fraternité, égalité”.
