You’d barely have noticed the budget announcement today such was the preoccupation with paying tribute to Paul O’Connell and waiting to hear the results of Sean O’Brien’s disciplinary hearing. It was, of course, the main item of the agenda at Leinster House and as you would expect, it didn’t go down well with everybody.
