Video: Japanese airline kicks off 5-year Star Wars project with slick R2-D2 Dreamliner

No word yet on its intergalactic routes yet.

Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced this week that the company has entered into a 5-year Star Wars Project that has been kicked off with a 787-9 Dreamliner dressed in R2-D2 livery.

While the R2-D2 plane looks class, we can’t help but think of all the incredible designs that ANA could make during their 5-year Star Wars project.

How cool would it be to fly around in a fully black Dart Vader plane or an all-gold homage to C3PO?
