President Michael D. Higgins has released a lovely little Christmas message for Irish people all over the world and we have to admit, we could listen to it all day long.
In his Christmas and New Year message, Michael D. touches on a number of topics from the birth of Jesus, working through hard times and Ireland’s relationship with the UK, among other things.
One point he makes time and time again is that Christmas is a time for reflection on the year past, so don’t forget to have a little sit down later on to think of all the good that has happened in the past year.
If Michael D.’s speech fails to put even the smallest of smiles on your face, then don’t forget that he was spotted queuing for an ATM like a normal Joe Soap earlier this year.
