Hollywood films have given JOE a general impression of what’s to be expected in the unfortunate event of a robbery at gun point.
Remain calm, agree to what they want and a general ‘don’t be a hero’ attitude usually prevails in these situations in the movies but it appears that an ice-cool supermarket employee wasn’t reading from this script.
Take a look at this CCTV footage as Hunar Mohammed snatches the gun, which turned out to be a replica, away from this would-be robber before proceeding to chase him out of the store.
Speaking with his local newspaper, the brave employee said “It’s the first time this has ever happened in my life but I wasn’t that scared as everyone has guns in my country that they keep for security. I did what any normal person would do to save their life. In this second, my mind said to do this and I did it.’
