By this stage, you’re probably aware of the effect that the adverse weather has had over the last couple of days, particularly in southern parts of the country where Cork bore some of the worst of the floods that have hit several parts of Ireland this week.
Given its location on the south-east coast, it’s been pretty rough in Tramore as well, as was illustrated by a video of waves crashing in from the sea and causing a dog-walker and her faithful companion to run for cover from the footpath on the prom just outside Moe's cafe and T-Bay Surf Club.

The video was sent into us by Liam Sinnott of Swellseekers.ie, who assures us that the lady and her dog emerged unscathed and we suggest that, at times like this, that all of you follow the advice of the Swellseekers crew when they say to ‘respect the power of the ocean and never take chances’.
