Brendan, meet Desmond.
Brendan Maloney was out for a few jars last night, and was slightly the worse for wear when he had to get up this morning to get ready for a wedding.
Having to wade home through Storm Desmond near Westport, County Mayo was probably the last thing he needed.
A scene repeated up and down the country today, we’re certain of it. Hopefully right around Brendan’s both dry and merry.
