Most of us take all of our senses for granted, if we’re lucky enough to have them, and this video reminds us how special they are
Grayson Clamp of North Carolina in the United States was born deaf, after it was discovered that he didn’t have a cochlear nerve, which carries the signals from the inner ear to the brain.
Thanks to advancements in technology however, he underwent a procedure which inserts an auditory brain stem implant, and was the first child in the United States to undergo the procedure.
Grayson has been incredibly strong and undergone a number of operations, but it looks like it has all been worth it when he finally hears his father’s voice for the first time.
